Unlike a family tree, whereby everything starts from the main trunk and then grows into different branches, Select Aviation started the "house from the roof" if you allow us to use this expression in that sense. Indeed, Select Aviation trunk has been created from different branches which have united to form a strong, consolidated company, each one contributing with his own experience, his best managerial skills and a nice group of enthusiastic and experienced aviation professionals.

The first, main branch was called Newair. This company was located in Madrid and acted as General Sales Agent for the Venezuelan airline Santa Barbara. All of Newair's staff had previously been working as GSA for Avensa and before that for Viasa. Newair had set a network of offices around Spain to ensure each Region had commercial coverage and local reservations and ticketing backup. Several areas were contracted to third parties and it was through these contracts that Newair met other partners covering large areas of the Iberian peninsula where Newair was not previously based thus making it possible to work all over the territory..

This fact is the beginning of a non-stop expansion of our company with the opening of different offices.

Actually we are located in Alicante, Barcelona, Bilbao, Madrid, Valencia and finally Portugal in Lisbon. Also, we have comercial agreements in Balearics and Canaries.
